No one like to have a skin cancer in there live, no one like to have sun as their enemy, however, everyone is at a chance to get a skin cancer infection.
Latest cancer news has raised concern about those of us who spend more time outside the door to work or fun and get more sun light exposure. The stunning studies reported that people are 5 to 20 times more likely to get melanoma, the deadliest skin cancer, with spending more time under the sun.
They also had identified six risk factors that led to increase of skin cancer risk, the risk factors that the studies identified were:
1. Having outdoor activity (i.e. summer job)
2. History of having harsh sunburn
3. Having red or blond hair genetically
4. having spot on the upper back
5. Medical record of previous melanoma
6. History of actinic keratosis
Actually, the sun itself is not the key role what make skin cancer patient increase, outside the 6 risk factor, the cancer news also said sun has positive role in helping people to fight another cancer.
Cancer colorectal for instance need a sun “support” to feed new non-cancer cell and re generate damaged cell that has been attack by the cancer.
Skin cancer is dangerous and it never late for us now to stress the need of preventive standards before spending time outdoors. Proper and frequent use of sunscreens cream and right clothing is one simple standard to derogate the damaging effects of radical sun exposure out there.
In the future, there may be other more sophisticated ways or news and simpler procedure to reduce the chance of skin cancer to spread. While waiting that new cancer news, let us stick with what we can do now to limit the life free of skin cancer around us.
It easy and it could save us from possibility having several nights in cancer treatment center in the future.
